The war against the Luxen is known as the historical event in which Luxen aliens invaded planet Earth. This also marks the event in which humanity was finally made aware of the existence of aliens.
A lot of lives were lost on both sides but humans were the most affected as Luxen assimilated human DNA killing them in the process.
As a last resort the US military was forced to use electrical pulse weapons in entire cities that were wiped out, and to this day haven't recovered. This lead to the creation of several "zones", entire walled-up cities that formed self-sustainable communities where Luxen, Arum Hybrids, Humans and Origins live and exist in peace helping one another. The most widely known zone is Zone 3.
