Pepe Toth

Pepe Toth, also known as Péter Tóth, is a model and retired professional football player. He is the cover model for Daemon Black and his identical triplet brother Dawson Black in the Lux series covers.

Biography[]

Pepe was born in Hungary on April 17th, 1989, he has a younger brother who is a professional basketball player. He started playing football at the age of 6, since he was a good player he went onto study in the best football academy in Hungary and played for various national football teams from ages 15 to 20. He signed a contract to play for a football team in Cyprus in 2009.^[1] Later on he signed contracts to play for several Hungarian football teams over the years before ultimately moving to the United States and joining the Oklahoma City Energy Football Club. He had to retire from professional football following an injury.^[2]

He was working as a model when Liz Pelletier stumbled upon some stock pictures of him with then-girlfriend Sztella Tziotziosz that had been taken 3 years prior in Budapest in 2009 when Pepe was 20 years old. Together Pelletier and author Jennifer L. Armentrout decided they were perfect for Daemon Black and Katy Swartz, as they fit the vision of how the author had imagined the characters would look like.^[1] The couple was unaware the photos had been used for the cover of the book until Pepe spotted the book and e-mailed Jennifer who invited them to the United States to meet her, later on, they filmed the book trailers to promote the series and accompanied the author on a book tour.

He met Sztella Tziotziosz for the first time at a birthday party when they were both 12 years old, they met again when they were 14 years old and Pepe asked her out. They began their relationship and got engaged in August 2010 while they were living in Cyprus. However, they broke their engagement sometime in 2012 before the release of the Origin cover, which is the reason why only Pepe appears on the Origin and Opposition US covers.^[3]

Pepe has graced the cover of more than 62 books together with former girlfriend Sztella Tziotziosz and alone. ^[4]

Currently, Pepe resides in Los Angeles with his girlfriend Nikolette Noel, a private trainer. He has retired as a football player but continues his work as a model.
