A disabler is a form of technology developed after the war with the invading Luxen to neutralize the Luxen's power which derives from the Source. A disabler stops the Luxen from tapping into the Source by releasing shock equivalent to being hit by a Taser.
All registered Luxen are forced to wear one to live in society among humans.
Disablers are metal bands worn around the wrist.
